For those of you who have never been to the shop this is your time to make 
up for it... it is a small, intimate 150 MAX party... in an old school 
style warehouse, "you know, like the way we used to do it....." hehe... 
this party will be a nice change from all the fliers given to you at every 
club/rave/event that you've been to, we only do promotions thru word of 
mouth and here on the beloved internet... we bring you the best in Deep, 
Beautifuly, Soulful, Sophisticated house around from ONLY those DJs who 
have dedicated their lives to this kind of music... 

This month at The Shop, Poetry in Motion brings to you: 

Saturday DECEMBER 22ND 

Jaime Thinnes (Seasons Recordings) - If any of you have not heard of or 
heard Jaime Thinnes then you are seriously missing out on what I consider 
to be L.A.'s deepest, most sensual, cleanest DJ to date. His style is 
compared to none, its a mix of NYC deep with some nice LA kicks and some 
Detroit Bass.... this DJ is by far the most underrated DJ that has ever 
come across my path... come check him out as he lays down the tracks as 
they were meant to be. A night with him will definitely be a night to 
remember. 

Zack Hill (Vinyl Tribe) - This DJ has been mixing records longer than most 
of you (including me) have been listening to them. Zack has set his 
signature style in the L.A. scene long long before he started mixing house, 
but his unique style and his diversity has led him to be one of the most 
diverse yet influential DJs of the L.A. house music scene. He will always 
have you wondering "nice! how did he do that", be sure to check him out in 
his deepest style of sets, his closing ones, he will have you in paradise. 

and as always we bring to you the Poetry in Motion resident DJs w/ over 20 
years DJing combined under their belts

Coming Northbound 

Take all alternate routes to the 5 south... 
exit Pioneer..... make a right...... go alll the way down til you hit 
Firestone.... make a left.... at San Antonio make a right.... the very 
first street will be FRONT street, make a left and we are at 12334 Front 
st. right after the Stop sign. 


coming Southbound 

Take all alternate routes to the 5 North.... 
exit Firestone (FIRESTONE IS A LEFT HAND SIDE EXIT) at the exit go 
straight, keep going until you reach San Antonio... make a left... at the 
very first street make another left, the street is called FRONT St. ... go 
all the way down past the stop sign until you hit 12334 Front st. 

it will be on your RIGHT HAND SIDE...
