First of all I went to Drum and Basics on Friday, which just happened to be
at the Palmeteo location, and as far as residents  calling the police, thats
a fuckin joke.  It's a industrial area, didn't you see all the shipping and
trucking companies in the surrounding location, although their are people
who live in the area; like all the crack bums who ask for tips while pushing
their shopping carts.  That area is a shit hole and the only finger I would
be pointing would be to the Sacred Grounds Crew, the Palmeteo location is
cool, but wasn't this supposed to be a some what of a upscale party.  They
could of easily got a better location then Palmeteo, especially since they
were charging $20 for pre sale tickets.  I'm sure the S G crew meant well,
but it seems like their always letting us down, so hopefully next time
they'll pick a better spot.  Palmeteo is worth $10 in my book, whether you
have Mark farina or any other top notch talent, also since were on the
subject I think Farina is overrated, I mean come on he's just a DJ, he
doesn't make his own music as far as I know.
