A BIG THANKS TO VINYLTRIBE!

Thank you guy's for having Ruben and I last night at your place. I'm sure I
can speak for both of us when I say we had a great time! Let me tell you
people the vinyltribe crew are such great people. They welcomed us to there
home with love, and respect! Smiles and welcomes are what we encountered
there. Thanks guys!

Well, to give a little re-cap on how the night went. Of course I arrived
there first since I went straight from work. Got there around 6:30 p.m. and
had to take the biggest p ever (I know, a lil' too much info) but seriously
I did. Anyways, I walked in and Zack was just waking from a late afternoon
nap. It was pretty mello with only him and his roommate there. Soon after
all the hello's, and what up's I immediately jumped on the tables to warm up
a bit. I was feeling the groove right away! Show time! Seven p.m. was near
and that's when Basskick showed followed by Noel (the pretty voice you hear
talking on the show). Bam! it's on and popin'. Next thing you know Emi
shows, and then Mr. Ruben Medellin shows up with all the boy's from SGP.
Well, most of them. They brought the ruckus and good vibes as always. It
made me feel a little more comfortable knowing some of my "family" was in
the house. I started off pretty mello and then took it deep. If you listened
in you know what I mean. I started with a Rain City track that set it off. I
took the groove on a roller-coaster ride. Taking it up, down and all around.
I was done at about 8:30p.m and then Ruben step to the decks and needless to
say rocked it! This brotha is holding out on some serious shn•it! He started
with some groovy bouncy music and then just took it from there. Man, If that
is how he played at SGP (which we have on dat) then he must have been
rocking it! It's been a while since I've heard him spin a complete set and
that brotha is still on it! I believe he was also working a Pioneer cd
player with the two decks. Crazy Niggy!!! If you didn't catch either of us.
You can catch Ruben's set on www.vibeflow.com in the archives. It should be
posted soon. It was a great night for us, and thanks again Vinyltribe for
having us. All the boy's were getting fade-de-black like they usually are
and making it a good time for everyone. Thanks fellas!

On the other hand, our other resident dj LOU was putting it down at GoodBar
last night. I haven't spoke to him to ask how it went, but I'm sure he put
it down on the 1's and 2's! And how was Euphonics last night? I'm sure it
went off crazy! I apologize for not going Cade, but I was tired and had to
go home to get some sleep for work today. But will definitely try and check
out FreeThinking tonight after the movies with the lil' lady.

Don't forget to come out next Thursday to Freaks and Beats located at Good
Bar, 9229 Sunset Blvd. Come out because Euphonics will not be running due to
some comedians b-day bash that is happening at there spot. (planned before
Euphonics...right Cade?) We have a great night planned for then. It's gonna
be a freaky deaky Panhandle Records Night! Jonene (s.f.), and Tony Senghore
(sweden). Both well respected dj's/producers. Along with Ruben and Lou. For
more info on that call 323.960.7709.

Peace, love, and respect! Deep house lives in our hearts.
