[Dynagroove] chicken lips?

Well since noone is gonna review, I guess I will, well I showed up when most people were showing up, when Jonathon was on the decks, when I got there I was hearing some techy house w/ some breaks, good stuff, Jonathon always has very creative track selections with nice mixing skill.... Chicken Lips came on after, their mixing was pretty good, nothing spectacular but still pretty good, just basic mixing... their track selection was unique but not very uplifting, all their songs had that same bassline style, pretty minimal, the kind of records that are good if you layer a bunch of them on top of each other to form your own track... after a few I got a little bored of them, then they started to bust out some tribally/techy/discoish kind of stuff, definitely not house, people were diggin it, but it seemed like it got old by the second track.... so I just chilled, after a while I was waiting for Juan to come on but for some reason I knew he wasnt going to rip it off (maybe it was c!

or wife had to escort him everywhere they went) so he came on the decks, played some pretty nice tracks, but I know he wasnt all there cus Juan, who is usually on target with his mixes, was double beating the records alot... I wasnt hating cus its the guy's bday and he should get nice and plastered, so I just danced, after a while, it seemed the crowd was over it... so along with most of the crowd I just went home.... the location was pretty dope, except for the hike upstairs after you had to take a leak... all in all I dont think it was worth $20 but still not a regrettable Saturday night.
