So I finally got my lazy ass out and hit up Pull at the 360 on Sunset and
Vine...what a night.

The venue is dope...you just feel like a player looking over all of L.A. I
got there alittle before 11pm and the crowd was chill...I really didn't know
what to expect. It seemed fairly clubish...no one really moving so I got a
drink and enjoyed the music. There were some weird Mafia types around, maybe
they owned the place...

So the night moved on and it started popping. There were some good dancers
around at first....the girls were alittle stiff but the guys were breaking
out....but then others showed up and the energy of the place went off the
hook. I know 2-Step and they were laying down sick tracks that had me
drooling...the beats were rolling hard. The crowd was amazing...the club
styles drifted out and there was this large crew of pro style
dancers....they had to be music video dancers or something because I was in
total admiration to their style. I've seen the San Francisco style and am a
big fan and I know S.F crews think L.A is weak on the moves but these kids
broke it down like they were born to dance. I would love to see a battle
between these kids and the S.F style house heads along with a house vs.
2-step mix....But I'd have to say that 2-step has an edge with that house
tempo and sound with alittle tricky break thrown in to give the dancers a
chance to pop and pose.

I was drinking beers at 5$ a pop, normal club prices....its 10$ to get in
and 5$ before 11 if you respond to the list but I don't know how long that
deal is for. Either way its not a bad price.

The music was so damn good, by the end of the night everyone was bouncing to
a tight vibe. i heard so many sick tracks and people loved every second of
it. The sound system was good, the view was great and over all if you want
to check out 2-step, this is the place to go, if you need another option to
shake that ass on a Sunday night check out Pull....

Thanks to the Pull crew for getting this weekly together...its been along
time coming for this sound to have a home in L.A....

peace
seth
