Free Thinking was a bit slower. Conway did a good job on getting the
crowd worked up and dancing. Jeff Overton got on and dropped into some
breakier hip-hop stuff that the crowd didn't really feel. Slowly he
brought it into some funkier house stuff and the crowd returned to dance
the night away and eventually he close the night out with sooom good ol'
INXS... A more eclectic night to say the least *wink*
Saturday... Well I cruised by the "fire & Ice" party and stayed about 30
minutes. I really was not feeling the music. I never really had a fond
liking for breaks. especially the electric, trancey, stuff... Passed out
some fliers and moved on to Greenhouse. I arrived at the stillwell hotel
and was dismayed to see very few people in the venue... Mark E. Quark was
on though and rocking it. the few people who were in there were totally
groving. I think Mark E. Quark is an excelent DJ and we should be paying
more attention to him. I then rocked on over to The Gift to wish Louis FS
and Wally a happy birthday... I rolled in to see a packed venue and many
smiling faces... Wally was on dropping some goodies that quickly had me
shaking tha ass.. Tasho came on and got me into a deep sweat... soon the
shirt came off and that dancer that I knew was hidden deep within me came
out. AIT was good to have the crew together again... Fabian and rashan
were in the house... zoki limping around with her blistered
foot... eheheh I had a great time up untill the 5-0 rolled in and spoiled
tha fun.
Sunday I headed over to revival and got my dance on to little chris and
juan. Garth came on and played all the old stuff. I really wasn't into
it. Everyone seems to be in these retro sets nowadays. I love it but
after king britt, doc martin, and little chris supplying me with the same
thing I was hopping for some good ol' fashioned house music. There was
some dope stuff but after saturday night I just wanted to keep the energy
going.
how was everyone else's weekend?
