[Dynagroove] Life Music

After a thoroughly satisfying night at Euphonic on thursday, I was looking
foward to some more dope beats at Life... Got there around 10:30 or so and
the place was cold & empty.  The music in the main room would have been more
suited to a chill room unfortunately... It kept most people sitting in the
balcony waiting for something to get their asses moving... Finally that time
came & the crowd started to get a little thicker, a little more energetic..
The second room opened up upstairs (there was also some pretty decent beats
emanating from the shop) but the sound in there was low & muddy.. It was
pretty crowded, but at least people were dancing... Natural Rythm did not
play on 4 decks as I expected, they just switched off, playing pretty
danceable stuff. The highlights of the night had to be Twenty Twelve &
Scotty Coats.  It was my first time seeing Twenty Twelve and they energized
the crowd, breathing new life into the party.. And they seemed to be
enjoying themselves too..  Another suprise was Scotty dropping the funk
upstairs.. FUN is the word that comes to mind... Jason & Wally played well,
but I left a little early as I had work in the morning.... Overall I enjoyed
the party, and finally Club Beat is using the A/C... See y'all on thursday
for euphonic..
