Do you know how hard it is to run a profitable resturant/night club? I
worked at a club for a while so I have a little perspective from the other
end of things.

yeah, it sucks that your friends got kicked out of their spot (and recently
euphoric) but the bottom line is, like *ALL* businesses, clubs and
resturants are out to make a PROFIT. If your event isnt drawing/people
arent drinking at them, what insentive does a venue owner have to keep you
there if he could be booking somthing more lucrative??

sucks for people like us, but thats the way it goes. Venue owners are just
sharing in the persuit of life, liberty and happiness that we all do. Say
your an owner - you listen to - say rock, and dont really give a shit about
house or any other type of music. If *your* business was barely breaking
even, would you book the low profit house music event (for the love of
someone elses scene), or something more lucrative?
I think the answer is simple. Theres lots of venues
