The New Orleans promoters are NOT shady people - AT ALL. In fact, as a
booking agent, I would like to have it be known that those promoters are some
of the best, most respectable promoters that I have had the pleasure of
working with. In fact, I had a dj booked with them the night that the whole
nightmare went down in New Orleans. Even in spite of all of the mayhem, the
promoters completely took care of the artists.
It is unfair and unfortunate that the DEA is trying to use these people to
set an example-- because (in my opinion) these people are actually some of
the most trustworthy, hardworking, honorable promoters in the industry.
