It seemed like an unlucky combination of things came together that led to the 
sparse attendance: the directions had one major flaw in them, which probably 
meant a chunk of people got lost and went to the more familiar grounds of Just 
Four Friends in Hollywood; it was $20 instead of $10; and it was raining 
slightly. Unfortunate, since the lineup was great and the music was the kind of 
that made for an awesome night of booty-shakin. When I got to Leo's at about 
1pm, Jamie Thinnes was throwin down some terrific funky sexy vocals, which did 
get the majority of who was there groovin. Wally brought the energy up and 
started his set off well in his transition from Jamie's vocals to some chunkier 
beats. I finally got to hear the much-touted Benita Applebum track <-- 
dopedopedope! 

With the exception of the creepy guy in sunglasses who kept leering at me, 
everyone I met was cool and down to party, but the crowd and the energy just 
wasn't there. I really didn't mind since there was plenty of room to dance and 
the music was tasty. Unfortunately, the driver i came with did not think so and 
I had to leave before Jonene's set. 

I want to send out a thank you to the girl at the door for being so cool about 
the drama with the girl who refused to come in. The Way Back crew did a good 
job and i hope that you guys will be doing another party, hopefully with better 
results.
