What is the deal with the outrage behind the question of what the real
motivation is behind these music festivals. I'm in this for the music, and I'm
just glad that *somebody* is bringing all this talent out here to the U.S. We
can't all be living in London and stroll in to any random pub on a Tuesday night
and see somebody up on the decks that we wouldn't get to see out here unless we
went to a 40-dollar massive.

Even better, the Detroit Electronic Music Festival is *free*! I was already too
happy to pay just 75 bucks to get in to Coachella to see acts like Kruder &
Dorfmeister, Squarepusher, and Photek all on the same ticket. We should be so
lucky to have something like the DEMF out here and not get charged a cent to
enjoy it.
