hello everybody...

i've received several posts from this list and
appreciate all the comments, postings and even the
discussions.  i've been to a few parties here over the
last year or so and overall, i have the feeling that
it seems that the majority of the ppl in this area
seem to have a great common goal - have fun dancing to
good music w/ little to no hassle. oh...and not spend
much...

as always, not everyone has all the same ideas which i
think is great. different goals and preferences brings
about change and keeps things fresh.  there was a
great thread about throwing your own party. i like
house alot, but i'd also like to seem more idm,
tech-house, electro, techno and so on.  so, for many
reasons including just learning, i've decided to take
on this task.  seeing how i'm just starting out in the
whole promoting thingy, i was wondering if anyone one
out there in lala-land would be kind enough to offer
some guided info.

seeing how i'm just entering these unknown waters, i'd
rather not step on anyone's toes during my learning
process.  so if anyone can offer advice on party
etiquette, places to go for quality service
(voicemail, flyer printers), any good spaces(location
and owners), or whatever else you think i should know,
would definitely be appreciated. like a popular show
from the past used to say - ...knowing is half the
battle.
