[Dynagroove] wicked excursions

I didn't make it out to the Dr.'s house either...instead I took the wicked
route. My friends and I got to the party right about midnight, and the
place was lookin' a lil empty.....soon after Jeno stepped up to the decks,
and the place seemed to grow people right under our noses. I was
disappointed with Jeno's set, he didn't seem to find his groove until
towards the end, and that's when Garth took over. Damn!!!!!! is all I have
to say....the last few times I've heard him play I haven't been
impressed...but..shit he picked up where Jeno left off and dropped some much
needed dubbed out discofied tribal funk. It seemed as though he could no
wrong, and the crowd was eating it up.......I had to pack it up early(4:00)
so I didn't get to hear Markie, but I don't have a doubt in my mind that he
straight rocked shit too....over all the party was fun....the sound,
well...I'm not very big on the cerwin vega's either.....they sounded like
they couldn't handle the bass...the costumes were all cool also
..well...that's just my review on the party.

Greetings fellow househeads (aka snobs of the partyworld),

I wasn't able to experience the bodyrockin' set @ the doctor's house. Due
to the fact I was that I was shakin my ass to the dirty trax of the Wicked
crew. For some strange reason I never went to hear Jeno and Markie, and it
had been a long time since I enjoyed a set from Garth so I decided to change
things up a little and check 'em out. The night started off organic and
melodious, then just a little after midnight the crew stopped playin' around
and started bringin' heat in the form of bangin' beats. It was NICE. And
just when I was starting to suffer from BASS abuse things got smooth &
funky, Ohhhh Yeah!

The only thing that comes to my mind that could have been improved upon was
the sound. Those 36 overrated cerwin vega's have too much highs to
appreciate it when the house goes deep, even 20 or so Mackie FUSSION's would
be a huge improvement. But then again, "there ain't no sound, like the
Turbosound". Hell, you could even throw weak-ass Thomas Michael on there
and he'll sound like a dj. But besides that minute detail, I had a great
time will now look forward to any future engagements with Jeno, Markie,
Garth, or others from Wicked.

And because i've enjoyed a number of Bodyrockin' sets from Ben in the past
and will definitely make it a point to catch the next one, I feel like don't
even have to be there to know that "there ain't no party like a ..."
;)

BTW: "bedROCKED"? Does that mean you were like John Digweed? or is it an
invite for the ladies, tellin them that you 'rock in bed'. :)

                                                                  Keep it
Deep,

Michael
