[Dynagroove] havasu this weekend... anyone have reviews?

Mockturnal Blunderland Report as told by Gisele Gonzalez

 I don't know what was worse, the scorpions, the 15mph winds, the 110 degree
weather, DJs not showing up, the kids that ODed or the  nasty car accident
that killed 3-4 people. 

There was no lake.  Sure, the was a lake, about 10 miles away.  Dust-free
dance floor? Right, I had to buy goggles to ward off the sand from ruining
my contacts.  I was sitting in the Lotus booth when suddenly the wind
knocked it over and almost sent it crashing on my head.  Luckily, five guys
swiftly recovered the falling wooden booth as I rolled out of harms way.

 Yeah, Sandra Collins, Mark Farina, Heather, and a few other DJs never
showed.  Either they wised up at the last minute and decided not to go or
they were never on the line-up. The lineups were all fucked up too. I heard
the line to get in was like a 5 hour wait.  Security was the biggest joke. 
A friend snuk his pipe, weed, and pills in...by holding them in his hands as
security searched them...the oldest trick in the book! Obviously, no one
trained the security. Security had to have been 18-22 years old...they
looked like a bunch of kids going to a field trip in thier matching yellow
shirts that read, "Event Staff".

 I couldn't understand how all those kids could drive that distance & spend
all that money on tickets to take pills and sit in the dirt!  I guess I'm
bitter because this party was the perfect example of what everyone is
talking about on the news. And in my opinion, this year is probably going to
be the last year for events to go off. I didn't even bother going to dance,
it was pointless.  The party wasn't what it was advertised to be AT ALL. 
I'm just glad I didn't spend any money on this event or I'd be reeeeeally
pissed.

So you really didn't miss out  on anything.  I'm glad I came home in one
piece.
