I gotta agree with you on that one.
I had an awesome time at this party, but (and I'm not exactly
sure when I noticed it) all of a sudden I just remember thinking, "I am
really friggin' tired". It was at this point that I started noticing
how relentless the beats were becoming (I'm pretty sure that I didn't
really notice it until D. Carter was on). The problem is, once I
noticed it, then I really started paying attention to how it just
wouldn't let up, and I began to get that feeling that it wasn't going to
until the last couple of songs in the evening, and I just didn't have
the ability to keep up anymore (I probably lasted until about 4-4:30ish,
too).
Anyway -- otherwise -- really fun night -- didn't see a million
people I knew but everybody seemed pretty nice or at least willing to
exchange a smile and whatnot.
