The Ubiquity Celebration is organized with TRANSIT ETA;  music, lifestyle, &
fashion marketing specialists.  It will be an eclectic evening of live acts
as well as dj's, art, & multimedia.  The lineup is as follows:

(A.) Performing Live:

(1.) FRANCISCO AGUABELLA:
- Widely acknowledged as one of the first Cuban drummers to make a mark in
the US.  The master conguero has played with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie,
Tito Puente, Eddie Palmeri and Carlos Santa.  Francisco's new album
"Cubacan" will be released May 21st on CuBop.

(2.)  THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF LITE:
- Rare appearance from the Sons and Daughters of Lite who mix African
Rhythms, Funk, Heavy Percussion, Latin flavors & Far Eastern Textures on
"Let The Sun Shine In" recently re-issued on Luv N' Haight.  Their energetic
sounds earned them performances in the mid-70's with the likes of Sun Ra,
Fela Kuti, Freddie Hubbard and Stanley Turrentine.  Only their 3rd
Performance in the last 20 Years!!


(B.) Dj's:

(3.) GREYBOY:
- San Diego's Producer / Dj came correct with his latest project 'Mastered
The Art' combining a slick collection of soundtrack-inspired funky
instrumentals, a touch of jazz, and fat hip-hop tracks.  Greyboy will
delight fans and leave you w/ a serious case of 'funk-neck' from his wicked
dj sets of rare-groove & hip-hop.

(4.)  NOBODY:
- Last year's debut album "Soulmates" caused a stir worldwide with a blend
of downtempo beats, psychedelic stylings, and shoegazer hip-hop.  Stay tuned
for the 2002 follow-up w/ a dreamy California-sun soaked record that
continues with his exploration into sound.

(5.)  JOHN BELTRAN:
- One of the USA's most promising producers has a busy 2002 ahead of him,
including several singles and an album for Ubiquity.  He has previously
recorded for Carl Craig and LTJ Bukem but is only now realizing his true
potential.  Watch out for some awesome club tracks incorporating organic,
Latin and Brazilian elements.

(C.)  Photo Exhibit by:

(1.)  B+ (LA):
- Brian Cross, aka B+, renowned hip-hop archivist, activist, & counter
culture photographer who's work includes such accomplishments as;  The
'Keepintime' Film, 'It's Not About A Salary' Book, and the photography of
the Zapatista's Movement, amongst countless other achievements.

(D.)  Art Exhibits by:

(1.)  Greg "Pnut" Galinsky (SF)

- Blue Note-beatnik style paintings, clothing, furniture, & other funky
accessories.  Pnut has completed projects for the likes of Ubiquity, Tommy
Boy, Adidas, & Levis.

(2.)  Freddi C (LA)

- The work of Freddi C reflects the imagery & excitement of Dj Culture.  Her
colorful paintings are vibrant & exciting.  Recent work includes everything
from a giant wall mural in Sydney to live paintings to album artwork to
clothing.

(3.)  Dez Einswell (LA)

- Dez Einswell is a Los Angeles based painter, art director, & graphic
designer.  He started his own design firm, ABOUND, in 1997 to explore
interactive experiences extending both online & offline.  A doodler since
childhood, Dez has recently brought his unique approach to canvas, wood, &
sculpture.

(4.)  Spazz (LA)

- With a nod to graffiti, skateboarding, 70's kitsch, killer babes, hot cars
& varied cultures, Spazz's styles are definitely unique.  Often using
friends as inspiration, Spazz's boldly colorful, expressive tight designs
reflect his passion for fun living.  Be on the lookout for future
collaborations with Def Jam, Koch, Soulkane & Ben Sherman.
