Once again, it's time for another Soul-Titanium Special Guest night. 
I am very pleased to announce that our next guest will be local LA DJ
and KCRW on-air personality, Raul Campos.  Raul will be cruising on
down to ST with his DJ buddy, Tony T., this Wednesday the 17th so
it'll definitely be a night you don't want to miss!
 
Raul Campos' passion for music started early in his childhood.  His
first collection consisted of 7" vinyl albums that he would play on
his portable "tri-o-matic".  Moving on, he discovered the 12" and
began on a path of self-study to what would eventually become his
passion.  As his tastes matured, so did Raul's skills; transforming
him into the professional DJ we all know today.

One of the many places you may have heard Raul is locally on KCRW,
89.9FM.  Raul hosts a weekly show called "Nocturna" every Saturday
night from 9-11PM; laying down a hypnotizing set of deep, soulful
house beats, down-tempo chillout vibes and everything in-between. 
Sometimes you may even catch him filling in for Jason Bentley's
ever-popular Metropolis.  Raul also hosts the homegrown segment and
Community Calendar on "Power Tools" on KPWR 105.9FM.


And like always, this party is FREE!  Raul Campos graciously offered
to come down and play for free at Soul-Titanium so it would be nice
if you could all come out to party on down.  It's not often that
you'll get to see Raul Campos for free, so let's all show our
support!

It is in the mission of the Soul-Titanium Collective to help out the
community and the owner of the venue has agreed to take 20% of the
bar and donate it to a charity of the special guests' choice!  The
only requirement is that the bar makes a minimum of $1000 so that
they can cover their costs.  They already provide decks, mixer,
sound, security and a venue for free so I think that's more than
fair.  If we make that mark, that would mean at least $200 goes
towards a charity.  So say "Cheers!" and drink to a good cause!
