Props to Becky, Lucas & the Distantbeat crew for bringing out JT (my favorite producer) last night @ Electric.  This was the first time I have heard him play out and I really dug it.  I have the habit of basing what I dj might sound like from their production work, and more times then less it is never the case.  None-the-less he rocked it playing a lot of tracks with more then enough funk in them.  Quite banging as well but never going overboard with the hardness.  W/ JT inside, the Vinyltribe throwin down the funk/soul/downtempo (Rod Stewart and Roy Ayers in one night = nice!!) in the patio and some stiff drinks, it made for a great night of music and good times on a wed. at that. -peace-
