I would also have to agree that I had a blast at DG.
Diz ripped me up over and over, and the heat, what
could be said about the HEAT! I kind of like the
heat, it is intoxicating to me (probably not a good
thing), but by now I think people should understand
that Party=people dancing=HEAT=the natural process of
yin and yang.
Anyway, these past months in LA have been
fantastic! Metro, Mancuso, Jay J, Dynagroove 3 year
birthday. I can't wait for Terence Parker this Sat.
The last time I saw him in town (summer 01) he really
blew me away like only Gemini has done in the past.
This party should be classic, I'm waiting for some o'
that deep down funkotronic basement shit! Peace
AB

had an absolutely FAAAHHHHBULOUS time last night, I
figured I'd write a review, and again thank Cade for
throwing the best parties around. Dynagroove
never fails to move my body, heart and soul...the
music, the people, the vibe; without fail, it all
comes together to make one night of pure
enjoyment. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We were some of the first people at the party,
and we stayed until an hour before it shut
down, the only reason we left then was simply
because our legs just couldn't dance any
longer. Got to the party and enjoyed the fact
that the place was pretty much empty. Danced
around a little bit and enjoyed the tunes, although
for some reason the music was just not grabbing me up
like it usually does, my legs felt like lead every
time I'd try to dance (probably because I was partying
until 4 on Friday night). Despite the fact that
I couldn't get my bootie shakin', I still enjoyed the
beats and watching all the other dancers out there get
their groove on. Dynagroove seems to draw the
best dancers in SoCal and it's always entertaining to
watch. As the party got more crowded, I
saw more and more familiar faces and had a great time
catching up with old friends and taking in the whole
experience (I don't get up to LA to party as much as I
used to). Took an energy pill about 12:30 to try
to pick myself up and finally, at about 1:15, the
music just hit me full force and I couldn't stop
dancin'. Despite the heat, I had an amazing
time. It wasn't at all unbearable to me, and
anytime you would get too hot, you could just go out
into the hallway to get some fresh air and chill out
for a bit. This is my third party at this venue
and it grows on me more and more every time. The
heat peaked between 1 & 3 a.m., then I think
people started tuckering out and calling it a
night. This is when the REAL party
started. Diz layed down some tracks that rocked
the house, and there was tons of dancing room.
Every time I see Diz, he takes things to a new level
and shows 'em how it's done. When he spun Blue
Cantrell's track (don't know what it's called..."Oops,
there goes the house we made a home"...) my feet
wouldn't have stopped if I'd wanted them to. The
other room was going off too, I don't even know who
was spinning when I was in there, but they were
tearin' it up (I think it was Lance). At about
5:00, our little legs couldn't take it any longer so
we called it a night...</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So, in short (in hopes of avoiding this
getting anymore long winded than it already is), the
party was a success, I couldn't have had a better
time. Thank you Cade and the rest of the
Dynagroove crew for all your hard work in making DG
what it is, and has been for the past three years,
some of my favorite memories are of your
parties. Here's to many more years of
Dynagrooving...</DIV>
