Thee-O @ ST - 5/1/02 -- Long Beach, CA

Our next Special Guest is a long-time friend of the Los Angeles
trance scene and I am very excited to welcome Thee-O to Soul-Titanium
on Wednesday, May 1. Thee-O has been part of the Southern California
dance scene for quite a while now and it's awesome that he has
offered to come down and spin some tunes for us! For those of you
who haven't heard of Thee-O (which should only be a few of you),
here's a little info to convince you to cruise on down:

DJ Thee-O of has always had a love for music. When he was a child at
the age of 5, he took a portable record player with him at all times
and entertained classmates and friends with the soundtracks of
"Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever". At the age of 13, with the help
of his mother and aunt he obtained his first set of turntables and
throughout high school he DJed at school dances and house parties.
After he graduated High School he got sidetracked when he went to his
first rave in early 1992. After that fateful night, he knew what he
wanted to do with his life.

In 1993 Thee-O started Biohazard Productions as collective of
like-minded DJs that currently consists of 10 other high-caliber DJs.
In 1995 he threw his first event aptly titled "Tomorrowland". In
1996 he started writing for Urb Magazine as a reviewer for Trance
music; a position he still holds today. In 1997 he became part of
the Balance Record Pool, which is considered the best electronic
dance pool in the country. In 1998 he released his first
commercially available mix CD, "Skywalking" under the Base 9 label.

In the year 2000 Thee-O has spun at every major dance event that
happened in Los Angeles including Audiotistic, Electric Daisy
Carnival, Jujubeats and Nocturnal Wonderland. He has also had the
opportunity to spin next to Orbital, Underworld, BT, The Orb, Paul
Oakenfold, Moby, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Chemical Brothers, Mixmaster
Morris, 2 Bad Mice, Carl Craig, Rabbit in the Moon, Juno Reactor,
Dave Angel, Loop Guru, Westbam, X-Cabs, Atomic Babies and many
notable others. His talents have landed him residencies with OnE
Events, ROAM, Channel 36, Club Magic in Hollywood and has taken him
to 2 countries, 26 states and over 50 cities.

His following continues to grow in the city of L.A. and beyond with
help from his numerous amount of mix tapes and untiring efforts for
the scene he loves. He has been heralded as the most popular and
most hardworking DJ in Los Angeles. And that hard work is definitely
paying off!

And like always, this party is FREE! Thee-O graciously offered to
come down and play for free at Soul-Titanium so it would be nice if
you could all come out to party on down. It's not often that you'll
get to see Thee-O for free, so let's all show our support!

It is in the mission of the Soul-Titanium Collective to help out the
community and the owner of the venue has agreed to take 20% of the
bar and donate it to a charity of the special guests' choice! The
only requirement is that the bar makes a minimum of $1000 so that
they can cover their costs. They already provide decks, mixer,
sound, security and a venue for free so I think that's more than
fair. If we make that mark, that would mean at least $200 goes
towards a charity. So say "Cheers!" and drink to a good cause!
