Since I was one of the first to respond to the sneak
v. melodic email, saying that I would have been happy
to go to a sneak-free melodic, I figured I'd better be
there.  So...  I got there early, @ like 11:15, & was
quickly beginning to wonder what the turn out was
going to be like.  The thought of: "well the party was
technically cancelled" was in mind.  But soon enough
the crowd crept on in, the turn out seemed very close
to what Tony Humphries brought to that same venue.  I
guess the ad on kcrw helped out... 

Anyways I definitely didnt fall asleep, the locals had
my ass dancin till I left, early @ 2am (the people I
came w/had work at 6am).  I left musically satisfied &
more than happy to have paid support by attendance &
money.  Because that's what the scene is about music &
money.  Crusty old Househeads need music & money to
have fun, that's the world we live in.
