[Dynagroove] reviews on Terrence Toy @ Release?

i was only there until 1 am or so but i did get to see the first hour of terrance's set.  in a word, bangin!  he made a nice transition from the earlier dj (kemal i believe, jazzy house) into harder and harder territories.  played an excellent robotic jam that had all these short clipped samples of "shake...shake...shake dat booty now". 

i realise that the opening of this club was met by crazy drama and a lackluster sound system but it has gotten WAY better.  the club is nice and roomy, the people were friendly and the soundsystem was just right.  you could talk easily at the back of the club but once you were up front the speakers would blow your head back!  i'll be definately going back next wednesday and i think release is even more suited to its new venue.
