First off, this discussion is LONG OVERDUE in my opinion.. And I'm glad
to see it taking place. I don't know how many times we've played
somewhere or with another DJ and have seen the needles setup in the
typical "flip the weight or put it all the way forward" setting. 

Balancing your tonearm/headshell is essential and will not only get you
better sound quality, but will help your needles last longer.

I guess there's been such a huge influx in DJ's over the past 5-6 years
and most probably never really learned how to set things up properly?
