A year end wrap up from us.  Thank you’s and so forth.

Some things we learned and/or re-discovered:

DJs want to rock
Time marches on and on and on and on and on and it’s yours ; )

We like getting booked by others
Flyer-ing cars is wasteful and useless
The underground is still alive
Cool people are cool DJs uncool people are uncool DJs
CD’s travel the world
So does the web
Connection is key, dancefloor and otherwise
Productions are key
Production is key
We can suck
We can rock
We like sucking rocks j/k
Mics are nice
So is a drum machine, filter, compressor, and a digital mixer ; )
Bass is good
Deep Bass is sometimes better
Getting paid is good
We need to travel, anywhere
Emotions can run high
We show before everybody
Hair is cool or lack thereof
Positive attitude always helps all of it
Making tracks is not as easy as it seems
Promotion is hard work
Locations are the toughest part of throwing parties
Ask for help
Caffeine is most certainly a drug
As are records
Listening to you is essential
We learned to keep our mouths shut as often as possible
Our E-listers are the greatest
Our supporters are the greatest
We need to support each other
War is ridiculous, brutal, and political
You can wear shoes with a hole in them for quite some time
After a year off we need to throw park parties again
The logo was singularly the best idea we’ve ever realized
We can’t always repeat past ventures
The bigger the party budget the bigger the loss
We leave later than everybody
The smaller the budget the more likely we are to break even
Music is everywhere
