I have been a bit lazy recently but I will give a review of the past week or
so. Last Thursday I headed down to San Diego for that Lifted party and had
such a good time!! The venue was really cool and it was good to see some new
people in a different city. Cade's set was ~AMAZING~, his track selection was
impeccible and his mixing skills outstanding. I was soo pleased, as was the
rest of the crowd. And of course Mark Farina didn't let down. I hadn't heard
him out in awhile and I said to myself I shouldn't let it go that long between
sets again. Friday night, Waric and Scott Pace really showed their Dallas
skills at Free Thinking. I remember Waric playing Free Thinking before and
really enjoying him and the two of them complimented each others styles very
well. And then Saturday night I headed over to the JAM ON IT party. WHOA!!!!
WHOAAA!!!! My friends and I had a night to remember. If you guys haven't gone
to any of those parties yet, you are SO missing out. The Vinyltribe kids
kicked ass. Zack Hill had some great records and Basskick's mixes were so damn
clean!!! Unfortunatley, Lando and Benjamin were playing at the same time but I
was back and forth throughout the entire set. Both of them really closing the
night out delicously. I had wanted to head over to the Sunday night at Studio
56 but I was still recovering from the night before. All in all, it was a
great long weekend.
