HOLY SHIT!!!

This week has been crazy getting ready for Tonight!
Amos, Angie and I lucked out on Sunday morning after spending most of the 
weekend at the Reggae Lounge building trust and understanding with the 
venue owners... They had just given us This Wednesday to experiment with 
and show them what we do.  Then, Tuesday morning, like 10am... my phone 
rings... They want us to do this Thursday too!!!  and our weekly starts 
this Thursday!!!

So we're going to take hammers to our own heads and beat ourselves silly 
BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY this week!  The caveats we had to concede: The 
venue will honor our 18+ promotion on Wednesday, but we have to be 21+ from 
here on for Thursdays.  I guess that some punk rock events last week via 
other promoters left a very scared and vulnerable feeling with the venue 
owners re: liability and the possibility of under-age drinking if we allow 
an 18+ crowd.  The lawyers have spoken.  And we'll have to do $5 for the 
21+ on Thursdays.

12 hours after the call, I got off the phone with the third DJ for our 
Thursday night lineup, and we headed out to promote.  The artwork isn't 
done yet, but we plan to have it done tonight, and I'm going to start 
planning monthly residencies through the next couple nights.. so if you're 
dying to get booked... come on down (with a cd or tape) and be part of this 
for HEADZ!

If we start driving a good crowd, the owners have agreed to start keeping 
the kitchen open later so people can get food too!  So come on out and lets 
make this ours!  Right now, the kitchen stops cooking at 9pm

The lounge has a nice dance space.
The back patio is covered, and you will like it's attitude!
Security is friendly (unless you're doing something really stupid)
Parking is free (if the lot is full, i recommend the side street)
