[Dynagroove] This Saturday "Love American Style"

Soul has been buying records, getting ready for this party.  He'll close out
the night I believe.  And they'll give away CD's from there DJs to the first
300 fools.

My Review of Saturday

Went to chachaproject.  Free before 11pm was very enticing.  As I arrived it
seemed as if everyone else there thought it was also enticing.  There was
more than 100 fools waiting and getting irritable.  The line/shuttle
situation was a mess.  So BodyRock offered up our van as a shuttle and we
did that for about 45 minutes.  It was like people were getting a ride out
of Godzilla's path, they were racing to get in and cramming themselves in
the back.  I guess I should have expected that.  We passed out some flyers
so that was good.  Anyway I had expected the location to have been
renovated.  It hadn't had much done.  The vibe upstairs is always a little
tricky at that spot.  I didn't hear any headliners.  Joeshua and Jordan were
holding it down on the first floor.  I didn't have reason to go upstairs.
Mostly spent the night outside talking with folks.  The venue sucked, but
the vibe was alright.  Venue is the toughest part of this party throwing
process.  And the music was cool.  I was really surprised to hear that all
the parties did well.  The LA house scene is bigger than I thought.  Which
reminds me.  Our party on Feb 9th is going to be more intimate so plan on
arriving early.  Then we went to this www.undergroundsource.com party, it
had cool acid house and breaks.  Definitely worth $5.
