since no one else has mentioned it yet, let me give big props to jay-j hernandez 
and neil aline for playing really tight, solid sets at deep this past sunday. i 
knew neil would be hot, having worn a hole in his killer mix cd 'on the rocks,' 
showcasing his chez record label (home of jon cutler's 'it's yours' - you know 
it, trust me).
but jay-j really stepped up and delivered like nobody's business. extremely 
impressive. he seemed to be having as much fun as anyone in the place (it's 
always cool to see djs singing along to the records they're spinning) and he gets 
extra points for totally rocking the def jam mix of mariah car-a-zy's 
'fantasy'(!).
this guy needs to be playing here a LOT more...
