Hi All,   Just wanted to personally invite any and everyone down tonight,   its for a good cause.  If $1000 is made at the bar 20% of the earnings go to a charity.

I've just been amazed at the overwhelming support and excitement
people have shown towards the Soul-Titanium Collective, but the fun
doesn't stop yet!  Hector "Huggie" Merida is going to be making a
visit on Wednesday, January 30 and I think this will definitely be a
night not to miss.  He's going to be bringing us his signature sound
that has taken him around the world and right on back home to ST.
 
As the founding father of Global Energy Musik, Huggie has been
dedicated to the global underground movement since 1992.  With an
unrelenting passion for the scene, the music, and the people, Huggie
has reached & touched the lives of faithful music loving fans
everywhere with a unique and intriguing sound that can only be
described as Progressive.  With an uncanny ability to combine all
genres of electronic-music-mayhem seamlessly throughout his set, he
sets forth to educate those who think a DJ has to have only one
style.  He refuses to limit himself to one sound or genre of music,
because to him, all music is connected in one way or another.
 
Huggie is proud to hold the respect of as one of the most in-demand
DJs of North America and beyond.  He has played forty-six of the
fifty states and toured in such illustrious places as Korea, Italy,
Hawaii and Canada with a busy Asian tour in the works for 2002. 
Huggie has conquered the US & Canada with his electrifying sets is
now working on similar successes in South America, Europe & Asia. 
His resume boasts a residency at the magical "Bassment" in Milwaukee,
and with large-scale production companies such as Boogie Tribe
(Chicago) and Go-Ventures (Los Angeles).

In addition to being an awesome DJ, Huggie has also gained notoriety
as a producer with his first track "Paradox Dreams" which appeared
next to tracks by other well-respected artists Micro, Adam X, T-1000
and Frankie Bones on the X-Sight Records compilation entitled
"Believe 96-97."  Huggie has also done remix work for Phatt Phunk
Records (Los Angeles) as well as Funked Up Records (Texas).  Two of
his more recent tracks "Ali Sun" and "Sunrise in Tikal" were released
on the Iridium Music compilation "Higher Collective Consciousness."

And like always, this party is FREE!  Huggie graciously offered to
come down and play for free at Soul-Titanium so it would be nice if
you could all come out to party on down.  It's not often that you'll
get to see Huggie for free, so let's all show our support!

It is in the mission of the Soul-Titanium Collective to help out the
community and the owner of the venue has agreed to take 20% of the
bar and donate it to a charity of the special guests' choice!  The
only requirement is that the bar makes a minimum of $1000 so that
they can cover their costs.  They already provide decks, mixer,
sound, security and a venue for free so I think that's more than
fair.  If we make that mark, that would mean at least $200 goes
towards a charity.  So say "Cheers!" and drink to a good cause!
