Hey -- we [that's everybody that had something to do with the park party this Saturday] would to thank everybody that came out to the park/BBQ this Saturday... quite a few (...hundred! heh) of you showed up primarily on an all out email assault to all of our nearest and dearest.  Thanks a million!!!

Gotta thank Marty for rockin' the food all day, too... that was awesome!!!

A definite high-lite for >me< musically Saturday was Jesse Brooks and Braden on the 2x4 (dude, when they dropped that first track it was like a sonic explosion of sound and the dancefloor seemed to go from nobody to everybody... but that's just my perspective!), however, everybody else that I heard played really well, too... thank you for that.

And last but definitely not least -- gotta thank Steve K. for putting up the $$$ for that party, getting the permits for the park, buying the pop-tent, and basically putting in all the man hours into physically getting that party off the ground... that was a very generous act.  ...and for that, YOU ROCK!!!

Also -- be on the lookout for the next park party, which is to be a Burningman Decompression daytime gathering, coming up September 7th, 2002... details to be announced.  Definitely the same Bat-time, at the same Bat-place.
