Definitely the dopest party I've been to at a taco stand in a while ;)
The location was hot (as in cool), couldn't tell anything was going on
from around the venue.. saw one johnny law and it looked like he took
off after one streak of crime-light; Only after the venue owner locked
the party up tight behind a taco stand party deflector. Anyways, the
place was hoppin' with many beautiful ladies and of course the party
pumpin' hits. At one point I heard a little streak of 80's and I had
made the mistake of hanging out in the hall.. needless to say I was
almost knocked unconscious from the stampede of funky-hat sporting
dynagroovers and tribesters. The people were very reactive to the hits,
which was very very cool to see. It was funny to witness madona vs
spacedust drop.. I totally knew that beat transplanted from hardcore
techno and as soon as the chorus broke out the walls started sweating
(more than they already were!). I tried to capture the vibe but my
camera wasn't having the dew point of the room, and I walked out with
one soggy camera. :P The few pics we did snap are up on our website
though so feel free to check 'em out: www.vinyltribe.com
<http://www.vinyltribe.com/> under the picture gallery. Cade managed to
get quite a collection of himself posing with various beautiful
funksters too.
Overall I gotta say this was definitely a successful venture and
although the soundsystem could have used a little more fine-tuning it
was definitely good to go.
Good Job guys,
Emi.
