Valerie Follow-Up

Valerie and Seth Collins (DJ Hope) are so cool!  I had such a great
time hanging out and talking to them last Wednesday.  Plus, they're
both hilarious!  Valerie called me that evening and told me they were
dressing up like nerds; Valerie had this goofy green top and Seth had
a pocket protector and a band-aid around his glasses... too funny!

One of the things I really enjoyed about Valerie
(http://www.valerieandthevibetribe.com/) was her untiring enthusiasm
for music and the production that goes along with that music.  If
you've met her, I'm sure you know exactly what I mean!  When she
arrived at the club she pulled out these awesome tapestries and
started hanging them all over the turntables and walls.  At first I
stood back and looked at her kinda funny, but then I realized that
they really transformed the usual bland turntable setup into a warm
and friendly atmosphere.  You'll definitely have to check out the
pics to see what I mean!

I also want to thank Valerie and Seth ten million times over for
cruising on up from San Diego to come play at ST.  That evening I
found out that Valerie had to go to the airport to catch a flight at
something crazy like 6am the next morning.  I think it's just so cool
that she took the time to hang out at ST.  I really, really
appreciate the favor!
