[Dynagroove] Weekend Review

Ok so if you missed Free Thinking you missed out.  For those of you who
did not figure out who all was playing it was Jonene, James Curd, and
Joshua (Iz).  This has got to be one of the best nights at free thinking
hands down.  They all switched out every few records and banged away.
James Curd I think stole the night though playing his funky chunky bangin
stuff.  The crowd was rocking I even saw people dancing ontop of speakers
which is a first for Free Thinking...

Saturday Altitude I had a lot of fun.  I opened so I played real mellow
and brought it up very slowly to a bump so that I ccould hand it off to
James Curd.  Who proceeded to BANG!  Bang he did he banged the AMP so hard
that it blew up!  Well it didn't "blow up" but sparks went flying out of
it and the sound cut out.  EEEEEEKKKKKK....  We brought the sound up on
the monitors and luckily the bodyrockdj/sound technicians were close at
hand.  We were able to run off their house and have the sound back up with
30 minutes..  THANK YOU BODYROCKSDJS!!!!  they really saved the party...
Lance went on and banged away... I did not get to hear much of his set
because I was outside beinga flirt and up to my usual shenanagens....  But
I did get to hear a little and he definatly threw down some hard hitting
stuff... All I have to say is CLE'!!!  he is the man.. people need to wake
up and get this guy to play more often... His style is very chicago like
and he loves to really bang it...   He had people dancing to the very end
and they even danced through that Usher song!!!


Sunday I made a quick pop in to Deep.. Alro was playing some vocally diva
stuff that deep is so well known for.  Sounded good but I was tired so I
headed out erly.. Very fun weekend though... Filled with all sorts of
Debauchery!!!
