[Dynagroove] Public service announcement / free park party

I just wanted to let ya'll know that New Times Los 
Angeles has just brought JhymnBRO on as their new and 
first club representative.  The position never existed 
prior to now, however, the magazine is in a growth spurt 
and they felt that the needed somebody to handle their 
club accounts full time.  They interviewed over 20 
people and they chose me.  It's funny... even I can't 
believe it.  What were they thinking?!  Just kidding...

Anyway -- what that means is that if any of ya'll 
need/want to promote your thang in the music/club 
listing section of New Times, I am the guy you're going 
to go to and I can hook you up.

Any of you people that go to Free Thinking, you may 
notice that Boardners runs their ad in New Times weekly 
with their plug for Free Thinking.

If you're not familiar with New Times, it's basically a 
free editorial/entertainment publication that comes out 
weekly in Los Angeles with almost 1,000,000 readers 
monthly.  They've got all these really kick ass 
articles/editorials on local shite happening about town 
and all sorts of club listings/reviews, music reviews, 
cd reviews, music/band, club previews, editorial, food 
listings, movie listings and all that kind of stuff, 
too.  They have their annual "Listen Up!" summer music 
guide coming up, too, so that something to think about 
getting in on, as well.  You can also get your parties
listed for free on a first come, first serve basis (weekly).
Email me on that and I'll get you the email (I can't think
of it off of the top of my head right now.) of the person
you need to send your info to.

New Times actually originally broke the Rampart scandal 
story, and if you're familiar with the whole Catholic 
abuse scandal - they were responsible for busting out 
Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahoney as well.

Anyway -- it's a really bad ass newspaper that comes out 
every week and is everywhere in Los Angeles and the 
Valley.  It's got a very Grassroots / underground / 
alternative feel as well, and I definitely feel good
about being on board with these people.

So -- anyway -- I just thought I'd let ya'll know.

I'm definitely going to make it my #1 priority to work 
out some sort of deal/program for single night event 
party promoters, as well, and really get the dance shit 
going, too.  This will definitely be a good thing for 
all yoots.  ;-) 

On another news front, I just wanted to also let ya'll 
know that a few promoters (myself included) are going to 
be getting together to throw another free park party 
Fourth of July weekend. July 6th, to be exact.   woohoo!

Long time, no squawk, and yet I'm glad I finally have 
something worth talking about again.  ;-)
