first and foremost, the thing we (we that really
encompasses sara and i mostly) were waiting for!
the meet 'n greet. not nearly the debauchery of last
year, but who cares! everyone there had a great time.
i know that i did. especially, figuring out who
people were. not that i said anything to any of them,
but i was most surpised and could not stop telling
sara..."oh my god, that is _insert name here_".

food was good. cant complain about the incorporation
of brie into the concept of cheese fries.

music was excellent. i arrived in time to hear lando play
a really great set. emi played awesome too, representing
the vinyltribe clan. i was most impressed by will yardley,
who is now only second to cle' in my book as far as
the ability to rock star it with beer in hand! (however, cle'
is still andy dick. i know that disappoints you.) i thoroughly
enjoyed will's set. impressed once again by joplin. i missed
a lot of mark sanchez because, well, homework now calls.

it was great to see everyone having a great time out in the
daylight and the opportunity to have some really great
conversations with people. thanks to everyone who came down!!
if you wore underwear, then well, you havent been paying
attention in class!! you should know better.

and to all those the rsvp'd and didnt show....what is up with
that?!?! thank you cade for your generous gift.

free thinking was a good time. nice to hear different talent.
even my friend from nyc, who insisted she couldnt dance to
non-ironic music, danced her butt off to luke.

home was also a great event. excellent excellent excellent
showings by cle' (i am now the head of his fanclub a la
Yolanda Saldivar) and lance. much respect to props amanda.

what a great weekend. thanks to everyone who went out and
danced and had a good time.

i have now moved onto major excitement over the unanticipated
early arrival of my widescreen, directors cut dvd of "blood
simple".

zoki.

vravers are better.
midwestern vravers do it better.
