good morning.  yes it IS a good morning, even though i am still fighting a cold.  i just wanted to say that i had a great time at twister last night.  for those of you who have not gone to this night, you are missing out.  i know it's monday night, but...monday is the new sunday umkay? 

i got there and david was warming things up quite nicely.  (he sorta looks like andy dick too only w/darker hair wha???)  then theory came on and smacked down!  i loved how he fanned himself with his records as he took them off the platters haha.  and then jordan, being PERFECTLY set up by nick, came on and played a beautiful set. "i think i" aaaahhhhh...so nice to hear that on a big system.  i am so looking forward to this kid's cd.  i want to thank boz for keeping that night going, and thanks to all the djs that rocked it all night.  i was so inspired that i composed some new vocals in the shower this morning!  

thanks again guys.  y'alls should get out to twister sometime.  

notes from the weekend:  it's pretty much a drunken haze but...

lawnchair g's friday was a fun night.  rithma was excellent, and peter and carlos dropping their soon-to-be-released track--don't know the title but the hook is catchy as fizzuh--it got stuck in my head yesterday after a whole blurry weekend of house music!  saturday was rithma and the tantra boys.  my friends and i had a lot of fun there.  then on to For Those Who Know for jojo.  wooooo---eeee!  that was a good party except for running out of alcohol at 3am.  boohoo.  i had so much fun dancing and singing along to 'feed the cat' and all the other great tracks jojo played.  the sound there was excellent and there were lots of good people there.  i just couldn't hang though--i had to leave around 4:30 and pass out.  i think i missed him using final scratch dang.  i was sorry to miss slick's set as well.  *cry*  sunday sunday sunday...well i already reviewed the meat n' greet--good times!  thanks again to cade and crew for putting it together.  deep was well...apparently i had a lot of birthday cheer and got a bit freaky on the floor.  i had a wonderful time.  (next week--louie vega woooot!)
