==survey on low attendance==
i've been a member of the house scene
on and off for yrs a decade even :)
there has definetly been another shift in our scene
i was pleasently surprised to find so many small events
with excellent talent recently
i used to have to pay $$ to see a decent dj in la
i think people should collaborate more with their events
this would SUPPORT the "scene" because as more and more
people go to empty parties the less they will return the next week :)
it not just about the music, but about celebrating music through dance
i dont get promoters asking dancers
to SUPPORT the scene and go out every weekend
people should go to events not out of obligation to support the scene
but when they feel like celebrating themselves and the music they love
ya basically there are too many parties and not enough people .. math
a dancer's humble opinion :)
but i am definitly excited to put on my GOOD DEED dancing shoes this
saturday with a daytime prayer celebration called EARTHDANCE (4pm) and a
nighttime charity/can-drive event called TROPICAL ... community
