[Dynagroove] Free Parties ruin the scene?!?!!

What kind of argument is that free parties are ruining the scene. Finally some people stepping up, finding new ways to make some $$(cut at the bar / sponsors e.t.c.) A creative promoter can make some $ without charging at the door. It takes nothing away from the clubexperience. I think it's the opposite, people dont get pissed at the door, when they already spent 10/20 bucks before they even know what to expect. 

I think places like Free thinking are amazing, especially for a friday in Hollywood? Great venue, even greater talent.

How does that ruin the scene?!?! I for one am all in favor for parties like that(or even $5 events) 

As a promoter you need to be creative, multi task talented, smart and have a pulse on what is going on with the scene.....

Dont blame to many events if your club is not driving, take it as an encouragement to do better, see what you can do, how to make some money   

OK, just my 2 cents, back to the boxwine.... ;-)

Off topic, they are shooting six feet under right now outside my crabby 1920's style Hollywood apt building....the driveway has a velvet robe in front of it, so , I guess they use it as the entrance of an underground Hollywood club....Man, this is so crazy, this shitty house, lol.......
