I need your feedback!

We are currently working with our web developer to make this Message Board /
Forum happen.

For those of your who are familiar with Message Forums and Website
Programming (.asp) this is what we are going to have:

A DJ / Promotor / HouseHead / Artist will have the ability to log on to our
website www.ilovehousemusic.com

1. they will post an Event on our website....say: November's Dynagroove.
2. all events are then placed in a "holding bin" where our Admins approve or
reject the Event Request. Most will be approved unless we find out it's a
bogus event.
3. the event is dynamically "posted" to the website's EVENTS section, and
the webpage is automatically updated!
4. then, a locked thread will be dynamically created in the MESSAGE BOARD
section, specifically for THAT event. All registered users of our site can
freely post messages to that thread.
5. surfers and registered users will have the ability to search our database
of events, and link to the message board if desired.

For example, say you wanted to go back and post a review for the last Mark
Farina party in LA. You would log on, do a Keyword search for "Farina" in
Location "Los Angeles". Then it will show all the results of past events in
LA with Farina. You click on the event. It shows all the details of the
event including photos (if submitted) and live mixes (if available). And
there will be a link to the message board where you can go post your
comments!

I'd appreciate any other ideas from you all to make this a better site....

This is how we wanted to have the site ever since we conceptualized it. It
just dawned on me that something like this would greatly offload the traffic
on the Dynagroove emai list... so i'm opening it up to your community for
suggestions, since i imagine a majority of the inital traffice will be from
you all....
