THE HOUSE OF DR. FUNKENSTEIN?
Musically one of my best parties of the year. All of the DJ's I saw turned the heat on and never let it cool down. Great sets from all, but Zach Hill owned me! He was my first pick of the evening without a doubt. Other highlights of the night? Zach R., then BodyRock (as always). My feet ache from dancing in my school boy dress shoes!
The huge warehouse venue in the Valley was an excellent choice and a great party spot. I loved the sound of the bass echoing it's boom throughout the space. The sound was LOUD, the way I like it! Also, the decorations, projected graphics, and lighting were well done.
Beer existed, thank you.
The people were friendly and fired up with enough energy to keep dancing all night long. Both dance floors were on fire! I enjoyed sharing the energy with all of you (you know who you are!).
Costumes? Too many to mention. It was all about being comfortable and free to groove. School boys (me!), school girls, a doctor, nurse, baseball player, I think I saw a pimp (I'm not sure if it was a costume though?!). Freaky good ideas everywhere.
Funkenstein was a great party and fun night out. My fellow classmates and I had a sweet time.
; )
Thanks to everyone!
Chris G.
P.S. I know I heard Jay Dee's 'Plastic Dreams' (or a variation of), either Zach R. or Cle, not sure, but it fucked me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.
