[Dynagroove] Thank You for Enjoying yourself!

I have got to say that enjoy was one damn good party. I have been leery
lately when going out...just kinda in my own mindset and not really getting
into much that I've heard, or the promotion behind house events...
I guess the time off has done me good, though, cuz I walked into moebius and
instantly felt great. I think I must have talked a million ears off, danced
and felt that old feeling of being on a dancefloor and not knowing a single
soul but still hammin' it up and playing around...
I heard a few people remark that they would have liked to see more people
there, and I have to disagree with that. While I know that from a
promotional standpoint, it's good to pack the room...but from this
partygoer's eyes, there is more room to dance and spin and slide and
play...you aren't sidestepping people in the hallway and sliming up against
sweaty strangers, you get to actually TALK to people...you can breathe, etc.
etc.
On the musical standpoint, I couldn't have been more pleased. I also missed
the early sets, but got in to catch solar being very creative and switching
his tracks up pretty frequently...dug the fact he laid a breakbeat down and
people actually applauded...(way to remember where it all came from, folks)
He also played some bouncy sounding techno recs. That had a few people
throwing questioning glances...way I see it, they'll all be jockin in six
months when the rest of the dj's start playin it...music's funny like that.
Galen was definitely more crowd friendly and I could see that the dancefloor
responded to him much better...
Unfortunately, I'm old and had to leave soon after...sleep called and I had
to answer the phone.
I just really had to say out loud that I ENJOYED myself fully and was more
than happy to support something different...not to dis mr. Farina, cuz  I
still got love...but I just knew what to expect over there and could hardly
bring myself to deal with a madhouse...I'm happy that other people thought
enough to come to enjoy and step out of the box a bit...
