Yeah 24 hour electronic format radio stations have never really been
successful here in LA, we can think back to Mars FM, Groove Radio, Etc.
However, I don't think we're completely lame on the radio considering that
we have such a great show available most evenings on 89.9. I think we as a
scene owe Jason Bentley and KCRW a great deal. Every time I tune in to
Chocolate City or Metropolis I'm given the opportunity to not only hear
some incredible talent (they have crazy guests on there all the time) but
also a good selection of music. Although it may not be as straightforward
house as say a mixed CD, their format seems to please not only the true
house heads but also the commercial people who may tune in. With this
great show I'm almost glad we don't have a cheezy 24 hour house station
that would play crap anyway. Garth Trinidad and the cats over there really
hold it down.. Raul Campos, and of course Jason. I think we should
look at that and appreciate what we do have instead of always thinking
there should be better..

Even SF has a 24 hour electronic music station... even though it sucks every time i've tuned in, its still a step in the right direction...
