[Dynagroove] THANKS FROM DESIGNFORMS

i thought this event was very well put together.

nice sound, nice vibe. they expanded the venue
(the downtown location on imperial and 6th)
which was welcoming. it was really hard to
adjust your eyes in the main music area to
the darkness though. i kept on running into
people.

the music pretty much kicked ass. jonra played
a really nice solid set. this was the first
time i heard aztec sol played and i was thoroughly
impressed with his ability to bang away.

i only heard about an hour of mike clark. it was
a very detroit sounds, mixing solid house tracks
with more techy tracks. very good programming and
mixing though.

i still think the night belonged to aztec sol though.

i commend the design forms team for bringing out
someone new and interesting to LA and for a solid
price.
