What up HouseHeads, What a weekend!!

Cade already reviewed the majority, so I figured I'd give it up for Wax.

I'd just like to say that it was Off the Hook!!

I rolled in around midnight, and as we all know L.A. hates the rain, so the
line was extremely minimal outside. We caught about 45 minutes of Juan's
set, which was dope as usual, nice and deep, slightly tribal.

The vibe was great in there, and even though they were nowhere near
capacity, it was just right, music lovers only. You know how it is when
there's not enough room to dance....

Then came Francois K. He set up his laptop and got to work. Mr.K is the
Man. He looks like he could be all of our fathers, except for that he can
tear the shit up on the tables and waves. Since there was room for everyone
to dance, my crew set up camp on the stage right next to the DJ booth, and
what a show it was. Not only was he dropping fat tracks, his control over
the sound was amazing, not to mention his control over the crowd. There was
one track in particular that was sooo fat, somewhere around 3:30, and I
swear he would build it up and drop the beat so hard that the whole place
would blow up screaming, and he did it over and over like every 32 bars. It
was sick!!!! Anyone who was watching him could just see the energy coming
off of him. He was dancing and sweating behind those tables all night.
What a show!!

The night apparently went until 8am. I made it till about 5, and he was
still going strong when I left. It was a pleasure to hear and see at such
close range, one of the masters at work. Overall one of the best nights
I've ever had at Wax, Happy 4th Anniversary!!

Peace,

JP
