My guest will be JAY TRIPWIRE. As of late he has definitely earned his
place among the dance music community and his hard work is not going
unrecognised, Jay's DJing schedule has exploded as of late, and he has
had the opportunity to play in some of the places that were once just a
dream. Growing up in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Canada, Jay is no
stranger to the grit of urban parties. His great sense of musical
curiosity and his sly mischievous character (which has always prevented
him from having a regular job), has lead him to his present life as a
DJ/Producer. 

Currently, Jay is very busy producing in the studio, signing 1 or 2
releases a month, and as of late he has had the opportunity to do a lot
of remixes. His music has been picked up by some of the most respected
labels (Worship, Nightshift, Laus, Swag, Movim, Jah Love, Big Chief,
just to name a few) and thus, Jay has appeared on charts and top 10's
from the most well regarded names in the industry. There is a large
range of DJs, and not just house djs, Jays trippy house sound has
crossed over to having some of the worlds leading Progressive names
playing his music.

Recently, Jay's music has been getting numerous reviews in, and
attention from, such magazines as DJ MAG, MUZIK, URB, IDJ, MIXER, XLR8R
and VICE and has been licensed to many mix cd compilations (including
those compiled or mixed by Slam, Joeski and Onionz, Danny Howells and
Nick Warren, Steve Thomas, Tyler Stadius, Aldrin from Zouk, John Selway,
Chris Fortier, Fussible, and John Digweed). Jay Tripwire continues his
aim to expose listeners to quality music through DJ'ing and producing.
He is presently building and molding his own brainchild, the label
"NORTHERN LIGHTS," which is the headquarters for the sound he knows
best. 

Jay's latest endeavors include a very hectic dj schedule and the start
of a new label called SPACED OUT.
