Hola, 

How are you guys all doing?  Well I'm doing pretty well I'm working for a 
new non-profit.  Silly Abby always trying to change the world.  Well its 
called Fuerza latina and we are looking for a new logo.  The organization is 
using latin music and movie estrellas (stars for those of you that are 
hopelessly spanish deficient) to rally up that young latino community.   
Think registering 18-30 year old latinos at la ley, mana, and shakira 
concerts.  We are  looking for a logo at the moment and I wanted to spread 
the word amongst my cool friends to look out cool graphic designers/artists 
and forward them my information or this email. 

While there are no real requirements about who designs the logo I would like 
to hook up someone young with the job.  It's not that I wouldn't be down to 
use a dope ass logo that came from someone that makes a living doing graphic 
design its just that I'd rather give the opportunity to someone that would 
appreciate it and could actually use it to start building a career.  People 
can submit logos for consideration to me and if the logo is chosen the 
designer will get paid (not that much this is a non-profit) but it will be 
excellent exposure as the logo will appear all over the place including 
letter head that will pass the desks of most urban (hip-hop latin) record 
company desks.  This is a perfect opportunity for someone who's into the 
urban scene we're going for the whole hip-hop, latin thang.  Some other 
possible guide lines might be to go for an empowerment theme (we are trying 
to empower latino youth through political incorporation) also the name 
FUERZA LATINA must be in the logo.  Well those are all the guide lines I'm 
going to give.  So tell your friends to be as creative and innovative as 
possible.

Remind your buds not to be dorks and include their contact information so I 
can get a hold of them, you have no idea how often that happens.  Also time 
is of the essence, the sooner they submit their logos the better chances 
they will have.
