Hello Dynapeeps!!!
This weekend was an exhausting one!! First off...
Uniting Dj's of America Vol. 20 Tour...
We left my house about 7: 30 and arrived in SD about 9:00.... Big C breaks his SD driving record every time we go down there! We arrived and went down to The Onyx Room to visit some friends.... They really did some remodeling to the club since the last time we ventured over there. I like the new top level of the club.... It has a dope industrial feel to it..... After a beer.. we ventured down to get Marques, hail a taxi, and get to the club. We arrived and Brian Cabalic was laying it down.... Brian is definitely holding it down in San Diego! His mixes are smooth and track selection is always top notch... I was glad to see lots of familiar faces in the crowd.... Mark arrived a little late.... I believe he went on about 11:40... A lot of people were bummed out that he was playing cd's all night... Big ups to the innersoul guys for taking great care of us!! The club ended about 1:30... I think it was due to the Fire Marshalls being so tight w/ everything.... The place was packed the whole night..... Props to the staff for great crowd control also!!!

p.s. It was good seeing you too cherry!!

Our lovely weekend started in SD @ Aubergine for the Marques/ Mark party...
thank you to all the innersoul guys for having a great idea and putting it to
work. I heard about 30 min or so of Marques playing, but that area was just a
little too crowded to dance in. As for Mark's set, all you people who like
to complain that he doesn't play like he used to missed out. One word -
PARALLEL. You missed out. You missed out. You missed out. It was nice seeing
you, SLICK AND CEE!!! Great location! This club is a pretty swanky place,
and even though most of the people there LOOKED like the Hollywood type, they
sure were gettin down!

I got my underground fix the next nite at one of my favorite locations (where
Miguel was doing FREEDOM for awhile- coming again soon to an even better
location!)... we got to the sublevel party around 3-ish... VERY GOOD
SET-UP... whoever the mastermind was behind the set-up needs to be
recognized! Haven't heard Doc play so well in a long time...heard the party
ended @ 10 or something...damn. Thank you SUBLEVEL MUSIC and to all the
hotties who know how to share a bowl... you'll get yers.
