FADE
No cover, No dress code, No attitude.

Four months strong and still running: Fade brings you
one fierce lineup for our first taste of 2003. The
second and fourth Mondays of every month will
guarantee there's no better place to shake your ass
(or lounge with a cocktail to ease you into the next
four days). It's almost surreal that we're able to
bring you a no-cover venue with top notch talent.
Fade puts it together. The support keeps growing.
Together, we make it happen.

MONDAY, JANUARY 13TH
CAN I GET A WITNESS?
_______________________________________________________

9:00-10:40
::: KGB :: ( Fade / StormRiders ) :::

Attention Deficit is probably the reason behind KGB's
wide musical preference. From relentless Techno to
deep Progressive, KGB concentrates on immersive
melodies in order to add emotion and soul to
his sets. We're blessed to have the 3 AM sound to set
the night off early... KGB will definitely set the
tone this night's direction, leaving attendants
wondering, "Can I get a witness?!"

10:40-12: Special Tag-Team Set!
::: BADONKADONK :: (VVM / Red / Neoteq /Synthetik) :::

Nancy Cheng & Brian McGuire make up the super team
known as BADONKADONK! These two kids have played
across America but call Los Angeles home. Brian is a
resident at the famous Club Red. Nancy will be
dropping her sounds in a tour of China later this
month. Fade welcomes a rare tag team of that wicked
Progressive sound that melds the whump and groove of
the London underground!

12-1
::: Philip Evans :: (Insulin /Elevation/Motionsick):::

Philip evans came into the dance scene in the early
90's, a strong background that reflects his heavy
tribal rhythms and ethnic influences. Phil has
recently been involved with Insulin Music, a group
that steadfastly refuses to recognize any divisions
between house and techno. "We choose to see them as
opposite sides of the same funky coin." Phil's hard
driving, drum-heavy groove will keep the floor moving
correct.

1-2
::: Athena :: (Break of Dawn):::

Athena has been making the rounds on the Los Angeles
DJ circuit for quite some time now. She started
spinning in '97, playing a variety of styles but
focusing on breakbeats and electro. With a mixture of
cutting, transforming and long, intricate mixes,
Athena sees DJing as an art form and a party tool.
A primo choice to close the night off as we kick in
the new year.

THE PARTICULARS:

With two bars, appetizers & pizza, a seated outdoor
smoking area and drink specials all night long (be
sure to ask any of us what they are), FADE is perfect
for chillin' with the homies or groovin' on the dance
floor. A vibe reminiscent of the early days, Fade
skips the negative attitude, replacing it with the
addictively sick beats you have come to expect.
