[Dynagroove] our 'scene'...

True, true, just don't get any brilliant about making a run up to B.C. ( I
don't care how many days you've been out of bud) You will be lied to, your
car will be broken into, your digital camera will be jacked, and you'll
spend all night tripping over smacked out hookers screaming obscenities at
imaginary people.

just a quick note - if you ever have a chance to just go up to Seattle for
a long weekend and hang, i highly recommend it. you will be amazed with
the people and the vibe in the city.

imo, what i think most of us are looking for is some sort of collective
unit to be a part of. Dynagroove (reelhouse), jam on it, uniting souls,
tropical, designforms, melodic, & all the other _quality_ promotions crews
that I'm forgetting to mention do a great job of creating a community
environment that makes everyone feel that they belong to something
special. A few years ago, (at least for myself) it was difficult & rare
to find parties in LA that are at the caliber of the Tropicals, DGs, &
designforms that we experience nowadays.

The only other city that I've experienced anything like this was in
seattle... & I dont feel that I'm asking for much, just:
good talent,
cheap cover,
people there to dance,
dark, hot, & huge box for everybody to dance in,
& _strong_ drinks.
