1. Brett and B3 for bringing more upbeat, high energy progressive house to 
the up-for-it OC scene
(house is house is house, I always say).. and no, it was not 'rave-y'.

2. The up-for it OC clubbers.. not always the most educated crowd on Dance 
music (what do I know), but very fun and open minded. 
The energy was fierce in there all night. A conversation I overheard while in 
line: "What does Donald Glaude play?" "I dont know, I just came to watch him 
spin". I thought that was a cool outlook, sounded familiar (geez- Ive been 
partying a long time!). 

There were several attractive ladies dancing off to the side of the stage ( I 
dont think they were full-fledged Go-gos), but hey- dance music is a sexual 
thing, and that seems to the be theme in the clubs these days (especially in 
OC). I thought they were fun (they were really carrying on), but I am a guy - go 
figure.

3. Liquid Lounge- for reinventing itself (yes there is life after Geckos). 
Place looks good, hired help is friendly and drinks are stiff and not 
overpriced.

What a great high energy start to what is shaping up to be a huge weekend!
